Activities for the District Visions of Excellence are coordinated by a steering committee of new and experienced faculty. The current Steering Team is listed below.
One experienced faculty member serves as a district champion, assisting in the coordination of retreats and 4th Fridays. Each college has an experienced faculty member selected by the college president who serves as the Champion. Champions serve on the District Steering committee, help to organize VOE activities when they occur at a Champion's home campus, and serve as a resource for new faculty. Sessions are conducted on the 4th Friday of each month.
Many colleges host other activities for new faculty on the second or third Fridays of the month. Ask your College Champion about additional opportunities at your location.
