Why DCCCD?
Darryl Johnson

The Dallas County Community College District is a dynamic college district in a dynamic community. Find your place with us.

Darryl Johnson (pictured at left) moved to Dallas from Atlanta, where he was an educational consultant. Darryl says, “DCCCD offers a unique opportunity. It’s the freedom to work with everyone from the college president to the groundskeeper, and the opportunity to lead as well as to be a team player.”

Who We Are

DCCCD is the largest undergraduate institution in the state of Texas — composed of seven colleges located strategically throughout Dallas County. Together the colleges enroll approximately 65,000 credit and 25,000 continuing education students each semester. The district employs 450 administrators, 705 full-time faculty, 1,700 full-time support staff and 4,000 part-time faculty and staff. In addition to the colleges, DCCCD includes other locations providing services to the citizens of Dallas County. Visit About DCCCD to learn more about the district.
