Adjunct Faculty Recruitment Fairs (Annual and Mini)
photo of Adjunct Faculty Recruitment FairIn the spring of 2000, DCCCD established an annual Adjunct Faculty Recruitment Fair, and additional mini fairs at each of the district’s campuses, to respond to and address board of trustees questions related to the DCCCD faculty workforce, hiring processes from part-time employment to full-time employment, and identification of possible Visiting Scholars faculty and administrative candidates.

The objectives of these fairs are to enhance diversity recruitment efforts toward meeting projected faculty shortfall from retirement, other attrition, new positions and Closing the Gaps by 2015 (see the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Web site) to best serve students.
