Ellen Benson is responsible for general oversight of human resources areas including employment services, compensation and benefits, recruitment, strategy and planning, and the recommendation of related policies and procedures.

Ellen joined DCCCD in the spring of 2007. She comes to us with extensive experience from both the corporate and community college/university settings. Her experience includes assistant director, human resources management, California State University at Los Angeles; director, human resources, Green River Community College; and equal employment coordinator, Seattle Public Utilities.
