Claudia Carosilva-Palacios began working for DCCCD in November 1992 as a human resources clerk for El Centro College. Later, Claudia’s duties there included processing employment applications. In March 1997, she transferred to District Human Resources, where she was hired to prepare advertising reports. In 2000, Claudia took on new duties, handling compensation and later benefits. Her many responsibilities now include payroll, benefits and wellness programs.

A member of the Texas Compensation Association, Claudia has an associate degree in business administration and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in human relations and business at Amberton University.

Since joining District Human Resources, Claudia’s accomplishments have included reinstating the job evaluation process and organizing retiree fairs. In 2003, she graduated from the DCCCD Leadership program.
