Ms. Brown’s career spans more than 18 years with the Dallas County Community College District. 

She has held numerous positions in the human resources arena and specializes in the areas of preventative employee relations, best practice policies and employee communication.  In her current position as College, Director Human Resources, she is actively involved in incorporating strategic influences into everyday activities that keep employees engaged in their job performance.  

Cynthia holds an undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University and a graduate degree from Amber University.  She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Texas Association of Community College Human Resource Professionals (TACCHRP), and College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA).
