Discover the facts about this retirement option for DCCCD employees.
ORP is an optional retirement program available to district employees in their first 90 days.
Under the following guidelines, an employee is eligible to retire with benefits under certain conditions of employment.

This assocation promotes the welfare, social and personal interests of its members.
This type of pre-retirement contract allows faculty to slowly phase into retirement and to allow the district time to fill critical faculty positions.
Some previous employees may be eligible to request retiree benefits if they meet the ERS Group Benefits Program guidelines.
Follow these procedures to make claims on death benefits provided through ERS.
Part-time employees who do not participate in TRS or ORP can participate in Social Security or a MetLife option.
