University of Phoenix - Bachelor of Science in Management

Degree:
Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM – 120 credits) with an emphasis in Computer Information Technology for DCCCD Associate Degree Graduates

Focus:
This degree is designed so that students working in diverse industries (public administration, criminal justice, mental health, and information technology) can develop the basic skills needed to manage people and processes in their own organizational or professional context. The Bachelor of Science in Management will allow students to have an "emphasis" area noted on the transcript and diploma, allowing recognition to be given their associates degree program of study. The following courses have been designed with an opportunity to focus assignment in various professional areas, and a program portfolio will assist in the integration of the associate and baccalaureate learning.

Academic Year: 2001
Maximum Number of Students to be Admitted: Open
Minimum G.P.A. Needed for Admission to this Program: None
Specific Test Requirements: None
Contact: Enrollment Department at the appropriate campus

Transfer From A Two-Year Institution: An associate degree – in any area or major – must be earned in order to be admitted to the BSM program. The BSM program allows more credits to transfer and be applied to the bachelor program. Additionally the associate degree will be annotated on the bachelor transcript and diploma as an "emphasis". The transfer path shown below is to complete the AAS in Computer Information Technology-Computer Networking from: Brookhaven College, Cedar Valley College, Eastfield College, El Centro College, Mountain View College, and Richland College and then complete the BSM program.
