Kansas City Art Institute-Articulation Agreement

This agreement confirms the transfer of courses of the Associate of College/University Transfer Degree taught at the Dallas County Community College District, including Brookhaven College, into the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree Program at the Kansas City Art Institute. This agreement becomes effective upon the date of receipt of the signatures requested below. It will be reviewed every two years and shall remain effective until terminated via execution of a written request by either party with one year notice.

Associate in College/University Transfer Degree (ACUT)

This degree plan is designed to meet the core requirements for students planning to transfer to the Kansas City Art Institute. This plan lists specific courses which would be taken at Brookhaven College/Dallas County Community College District (BHC/DCCCD) and are guaranteed to transfer to the Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI). Students wishing to transfer to KCAI must make a grade of "C" or better in all transfer courses.
