Office of Student Affairs
Student Affairs of the DCCCD, as a whole and as committed individuals, strives for excellence through a student-centered philosophy, which emphasizes innovative thinking, modeling of positive behavior, and mentoring.
To inspire and sustain us in these efforts and provide focus and meaning to our work, we adopt these themes and values as the common thread which binds us. Our themes and values transcend individual campuses, job descriptions and departmental mission statements and illuminate the ideals to which we aspire in each interaction we undertake.
Student-Centered Philosophy Student-Centered Philosophy means that our students and their needs are the driving force for our behaviors.
Quality Contact Quality Contact means we strive for a meaningful interaction in which we validate and support the persons involved and help them move closer to their goals.
Teamwork Teamwork means that our services, through broad and disparate, are offered collectively in the name of helping our students, staff and colleagues to succeed.
