North Central Texas Tech Prep Consortium
Tech Prep is a way to start a college technical major in high school. In a Tech Prep program, you begin your course of study in high school and continue in a community or technical college.

Tech Prep aligns high school curriculum with college curriculum to prevent duplication of coursework in college and provides a seamless transition from high school to community college.

The Tech Prep program allows students to earn college credit beginning as early as the ninth grade.  Students can enroll in an approved Tech Prep course at their high school.
