On behalf of the Dallas County Community College District, Richland College offers students the opportunity to study for a semester or a year at Thames Valley University, in London, England. The College is located in the London borough of Ealing about ten miles from central London and is served by convenient transportation (buses and the underground) Many of the courses offered at Thames Valley take advantage of its London location and could not be offered in the United States. The program thus provides American students with the opportunity to experience the British educational system in an English college; to live in London and travel in Britain and Europe; to study and experience English and European culture; and to further the student's academic program by taking courses in an accredited program.

With the assistance of the staff at Thames Valley, students rent accommodations in private homes nearby to the college. The cost of a semester may vary as changes occur in the economies and currencies of England and the U.S. This program is quite reasonable when compared to many opportunities in international education or to the cost of living abroad for a comparable length of time. For all courses taken at Thames Valley University where there are equivalent courses in the DCCCD, the official transcript for those credits will be posted on the DCCCD, Richland College transcript.
