Community College for International Development


According to Community College International Development (CCID), its mission “is to provide opportunities for building global relationships that strengthen educational programs, and promote economic development."



To accomplish its mission, CCID provides:

 

  • Technical Training: Develops technical training for economic independence and human resource development.
  • Economic Development: Supports curriculum development and programs that encourage global understanding.
  • Partnerships: Facilitates educational exchanges that result in increased global awareness.
  • Leadership: Initiates and coordinates international linkages to advocate the necessity of global partnerships.
  • Professional Development: Initiates, facilitates and encourages international relationships that enhance global competencies.


DCCCD is a member of CCID. DCCCD has extensive experience designing and implementing a variety of workforce development initiatives in the Dallas area. 

CCID, with experience throughout the world, provides workforce development tools and expertise to countries around the world to help improve living standards and raise productivity levels. Through the partnership between DCCCD and CCID, various international workforce and economic developments benefiting Dallas students and international students have begun.
