Dr. Elliott is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Modern Languages at the University of Texas at Arlington. His areas of specialization include second language acquisition and the acquisition of second language phonological skills. He has published articles and reviews in premier language journals, and he has authored Nuevos destinos: Español para hispanohablantes and co-authored the instructor's annotated edition for Puntos de partida, 6th edition.
