Future changes will be coordinated through the District Core Curriculum Evaluation Coordinating Team. This team reports to the Vice Chancellor of Educational Affairs or his designate. Proposed changes must be addressed by district discipline committees, the Vice Presidents Council, the Chancellor's Cabinet, and the DCCCD Board of Trustees, prior to submission to the THECB for approval.
Changes that involve the Exemplary Educational Objectives and Intellectual Competencies addressed in specific courses must be approved by appropriate district discipline committees and reported to the administrative designate of the Vice Chancellor of Educational Affairs. Individual faculty or college faculty may address a greater number of Exemplary Educational Objectives or Intellectual Competencies than specified in the district grid, but they may not address fewer than agreed upon by the district discipline committees.
