The DCCCD Core Curriculum Evaluation Coordination Team will serve as the institutional vehicle for evaluating the core curriculum during the 2004-2009 period. This committee is charged with:
- Coordination of the findings of college educational evaluation plans,
- Identification of curriculum gaps,
- Maintenance and dissemination of discipline committee revisions to grids for Intellectual Competencies and Exemplary Educational Objectives,
- Dissemination of core completion information, and
- Developing recommendations to Vice Presidents Council for changes to the DCCCD Core Curriculum.

The committee will meet a minimum of twice annually, once in the fall and once in spring. The purpose of the fall meetings will be to:
- Consider core completion data from the previous academic year,
- Review findings from the previous year's learning outcomes assessment data,
- Consider proposals to change to the DCCCD Core Curriculum,
- Share details of current college efforts to evaluate student learning outcomes.

- Review changes to the core,
- Review changes to the discipline committee grids,
- Review college outcome assessment data from fall,
- Share best practices from the current year,
- Recommend professional development activities for the next academic year,
- Consider proposals to change the DCCCD Core Curriculum
