- Distributed Core 2009 bookmarks
- Invited college faculty, staff, and students to participate in the process using the Core 2009 Suggestion form
- Core 2009 Committee workshop reviewing December studies
- Student forums (approximately 160 participated in January)
- Began discussion of Communication Component Area
- Began discussion of Mathematics Component Area

- Completion of Student forums (3 schools remain)
- Aggregation of data from student forums
- Begin discussion of Natural Sciences Component Area
- Begin discussion of Social Sciences Component Area
- Begin discussion of Humanities/Visual and Performing Arts Component Area
- Use of eCampus discussion board to share insights
