Terence McDaniel oversees all financial activities, scholarship activities and business
affairs for the District Development Office. A native of Tyler, Texas, Terence returned to the Lone Star State after spending several years in Arizona, where he served for nine years (1992-2001) as vice president of finance and administration for the Greater Phoenix Urban League.
Prior to that, he had his own CPA practice in Dallas for more than seven years. He has also worked in various accounting/audit positions for different companies in the Dallas area. Terence previously served on the advisory board for the accounting department at Cedar Valley College, part of DCCCD, and was vice president of the National Urban League’s Chief Financial Officers Council. He was also treasurer of the Arizona Fair Housing Council. Terence earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce (formerly East Texas State University) in 1979 and earned his CPA license in 1986.
