Luis J. Iglesias has been involved in higher education for more than 30 years. He was educated at Brandeis University and the University of Chicago and has taught social science and research methods at Chicago State University, Elmhurst College, Rollins College, the Pontifical Universidad Madre y Maestra and Brookhaven College.
Luis joined Brookhaven College in 1997 as special assistant to the vice president of instruction and director of the International Center. He transferred to DCCCD headquarters in 2003 as district specialist for resource development. As such, he works on grant writing, grant instruction, research, and identification of public and private prospects of funds for the DCCCD colleges.
