During her tenure in Brookhaven’s resource development office, she was responsible for the implementation of grant and private gift initiatives, including project support for Achieving the Dream and Perkins Strategic Projects grants, the Head Start program and the quasi-endowment for the Ellison Miles Geotechnology Institute.
Before joining DCCCD, Hannah served in various capacities for nonprofits and publications, including the Crownfire Project and Expository Magazine. Hannah received her master’s degree in poverty studies and her baccalaureate in women’s studies at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Her primary responsibility as coordinator of development is in planning, development, budgeting and monitoring for a wide variety of private and public gifts for the District Development Office and Foundation.
