Our Services
The District Development Office provides the following services once grants are awarded.

Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Acts as central resource for all grant personnel
  • Acts as lead DCCCD central contact for all funding agencies
  • May assist in proposal development if a multicollege application
  • Provides guidance as it relates to grant implementation from start-up to close-out
  • Reviews and approves all internal grant budget setups (Fund 13)
  • Reviews and processes contracts/subcontracts for chancellor’s signature via District Legal Affairs
  • Performs research and develops reports related to grants
  • Provides guidance related to program performance
  • Provides districtwide training sessions to ensure grant personnel comply with current administrative agency regulations, reporting and DCCCD internal grant requirements
  • Conducts customized group and one-on-one training sessions when requested by college grant staff
  • Develops grant training curriculum
  • Interprets funding agency regulations, DCCCD policies and procedures
  • Assists external agency auditors preparing for on-site program visits
  • Reports monthly receipt of grant awards to DCCCD Board of Trustees via informative board report
