Derick consistently displays the attributes that exemplify the values of the DCCCD. In his work as a first-line contact for callers and/or visitors to District Human Resources, he consistently strives towards exceptional customer service in addressing (and exceeding) the needs of internal and external customers. 

Derick is a self-starter who through his determination, resiliency and passion to assist others addresses and often defuses difficult customer issues before they become problems. Derick has an excellent and upbeat attitude and is genuine in his willingness to serve our constituents with effectiveness and efficiency.
