This nominee is an employee that any administrator would love to have working for them. She is one of the most pleasant and easygoing colleagues I have come to know in this district.

She is extremely knowledgeable and resourceful in providing district information. It is not every day that you find a person who is willing to answer almost everybody's questions in Educational Affairs all the time. She is organized and makes a concerted effort to get you what you need because of her enviable ability to find a solution. The best part is her pleasant attitude and thoughtfulness, no matter when you need her assistance. She demonstrates diligence and dedication, and her enthusiasm and contributions to the workplace deserve high recognition. 

Anyone who is eager to share her insights and gets along well with others deserves to be nominated for P.O.P.E. This is an exceptional person who exemplifies a model employee, and one whom I am certainly proud to nominate as our P.O.P.E. of the month. She is, Karen Settles-Lee, Educational Affairs’ “RARE JEWEL.”
