Robert's vast knowledge and competency in laws affecting the district, as well as his longtime experience in the district, makes him the “go-to” person for all employees via phone calls, e-mails, faxes and personal visits. He is respectful of their needs and adheres to confidentiality. Although extremely busy, he has an open-door policy and is an active listener who focuses on their concerns. In law and in areas that extend outside and beyond law, he always provides a candid response. His enduring qualities and his leadership abilities apply across the district and to nondistrict business contemporaries as well.
He rigorously defends the matters brought against the district and works to keep the district out of court and lawsuits.
Robert was instrumental in forming Workplace Bible Studies, a downtown Dallas nondenominational group that meets on Wednesdays during the lunch hour. He participates on a regular basis and serves as an officer of the group. He is very generous with both his time and money to support many charitable endeavors to help those less fortunate. His kind, sensitive and loving heart guides him on a spiritual path.
