December - Molly Bewley

Molly Bewley is the district director of Outreach, Recruitment and Community Engagement. She is the fearless leader of a group of eight in our department. She is the glue that keeps our team together with her contagious positive attitude.

We will be making our second departmental move in less than two years, and Molly has kept us looking toward a bright future, despite some of the difficulties we have and will be encountering again. Our department is a mix of personalities, but through it all, she keeps us feeling and working like a family.

Molly is always supporting us and encouraging us to grow professionally. She motivates us and supports us through scheduling conflicts, personal matters and professional challenges. Through it all, her intentions are sincere and honest, wanting the best for each and every one of us. She has a special relationship with each one of us and intentionally plants the seeds of growth so that we can always look to potential future possibilities in our jobs.

Even on her worst days, you can always count on her for a smile. She is the rock that weathers the storm and is always ready to find the sunshine through the thickest clouds. She is friendly and outgoing, making her not only our boss but also a friend we can count on.

It would take me a whole book to write about how much she has inspired me. I don’t think I appreciate her as much as she deserves, and nominating her as POPE is just a small gesture to sing her praises and accomplishments.

She has earned the recognition, which she never asks for.
