District Archives

The Mission of the Dallas County Community College District Archives is to:

  • Appraise, select, organize, and describe records that document the history of the Dallas County Community College District and its colleges,
  • Provide bibliographic and physical access to archival materials by making available and encouraging the use of the collection by District faculty, staff, students, and the community,
  • Ensure the physical integrity of archival materials using approved conservation and preservation methods, and
  • Provide a dedicated, secure, adequate, and pleasant facility for the preservation and use of archival materials of the Dallas County Community College District.
