The PUG's purpose is to promote best practices related to procurement (requisitions, purchase orders, and other vendor payment media) within the district. The group meets 6 times per year. See meeting dates, minutes and agendas.

While the PUG is a standing committee, it is similar to DCCCD Councils in that it has authority and responsibility for making recommendations. It is dissimilar to councils in that it is not necessarily composed of persons who hold similar positions. See the group's charges and committee members (PDF - 81KB).
