Institutional research is a critical function for DCCCD leadership’s data-informed decision-making. Such decision-making promotes a culture of evidence to enhance teaching, learning and student support services.

Our DCCCD Institutional Research Council (IRC) enables a focus on accountability, collaboration and efficiency by:
  • creating a consistent framework for data displays
  • developing districtwide research projects
  • supporting other councils' work and data needs
  • eliminating duplication of efforts
  • promoting communication among researchers for enhanced capability

Meetings are held September through May on the third Thursday of each month from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the District Office or the El Centro's Bill J. Priest campus. The IRC does not meet in January. June through August meetings are scheduled as needed.
