Institutional research is a critical function for DCCCD leadership’s data-informed decision-making. Such decision-making promotes a culture of evidence to enhance teaching, learning and student support services.
 
Our DCCCD Institutional Research Council (IRC) enables a focus on accountability, collaboration and efficiency by:

creating a consistent framework for data displays  developing districtwide research projects supporting other councils' work and data needs eliminating duplication of efforts promoting communication among researchers for enhanced capability

Meetings are held September through May on the third Thursday of each month from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the District Office or the El Centro's Bill J. Priest campus. The IRC does not meet in January. June through August meetings are scheduled as needed.
