New Employee Orientation

 

What is New Employee Orientation? 

New Employee Orientation, coordinated by District Organizational Development (OrgDev), is a half-day districtwide orientation program. The purpose is to introduce new employees to the mission, priorities, goals and values of the DCCCD.

Who should attend?

Full-time employees, including professional support staff, faculty, adjunct faculty and administrators, who are new to the district should attend the orientation.

What are the benefits for me?

New DCCCD employees participating in the orientation will gain valuable information about the district’s culture.

How do I register?

District Organizational Development sends registration invitations to new employees and their supervisors.  When the invitation is received, employees should: 

  • Contact their supervisor for approval to register for orientation.
  • Once approval is obtained, log on to eConnect.
  • Choose "Register for Staff Enrichment" and complete the form.
  • You will receive a confirmation showing that your registration was received successfully.

 

When are classes held?

Districtwide orientations are held three times each academic year.
