* The Chemistry Dept. has two degree tracks.  The American Chemical Society track requires Calculus-based Physics (PHYS 251/ 217 – 6 semester hrs.) and (PHYS 252 /218 – 6 semester hrs.) The Physics listed above is for those who choose the Pre-Med, Pre-Dental track, which allows for trigonometry-based physics.
