Employee Assistance Program        

This allows all full-time employees and their dependents eligible to receive six (6) prepaid counseling sessions per problem incident at no cost to employees and dependents.

Employee Development Fund Employee may participate in classes for professional growth or to obtain an associates degree based on an approved degree plan that is career oriented. Supervisor approval is required.
 
Wellness Program All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Wellness Program.  Full-time employees get a minimum of 1.5 hours each week.

Educational Stipend

This benefit gives employees a one-time stipend when they complete a degree.  Eligible after 12 months of continuous education.

Associates Degree      $  500.00

Bachelors Degree       $1,000.00

Masters Degree          $1,500.00

Doctorates Degree      $2,000.00

      

Auditing Classes

Classes may be audited for professional growth on a space available basis to improve job-related skills. Supervisor and location approval is required. Employee work hours will be reduced in accordance with class attendance or an employee may audit the class outside of normal work hours.

     
In County Tuition Rates Employees and/or their dependent(s) residing outside of Dallas County may pay Dallas County tuition rates. Location residency regulations may apply.
     
Education Credit Program Employee may participate in classes for professional growth or to obtain an associate or baccalaureate degree based on an approved degree plan that is career oriented. Supervisor approval is required. 

Eligible after 12 months of continuous employment.

Direct Payroll Deposit The DCCCD uses direct deposit for full-time and part-time employees. 
      
Parking Stipend for Downtown Employees Employees at downtown locations receive a stipend in place of a district-provided parking facility (El Centro College).
