This Articulation Agreement between Weatherford College and Cedar Valley College is intended to permit all WC Veterinary Assistant Certificate students to transfer directly into the Veterinary Technology Program. The following course track will be available through this Articulation Agreement:
Veterinary Assisting Certificate Program
The director of the Veterinary Technology Program and the director of the Veterinary Certificate Program will review the appropriate courses in the Weatherford College curriculum for transferability. The following courses will transfer from Weatherford College to the Veterinary Technology Program at Cedar Valley College-Dallas County Community College District:

The following courses will transfer to the onsite Veterinary Technology Program with the following conditions:
VTHT 1401 VTHT 1413 VTHT 2321 VTHT 2323 | Introduction to Veterinary Technology Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology Veterinary Parasitology Veterinary Clinical Pathology |
- Following completion of each of these courses, the student who wishes to transfer will take a placement examination provided by the CVVT Program.
- Student must pass each placement examination taken with a grade of 70 or better.
- A student who does not receive a grade of 70 or better will have to retake the course at Cedar Valley College.
By approving these Program Transfer Guides, Cedar Valley College-Dallas County Community College District assures the Weatherford College transfer student that all courses in the certificate degree program will transfer into the Cedar Valley College Veterinary Technology degree program. Representatives from Cedar Valley College Veterinary Technology Program and Weatherford College will review this Agreement during the month of August of each year to update course equivalencies. Program Transfer Guides and transfer admission information to be used the subsequent academic year.

Each Program Transfer Guide will be based on the Cedar Valley College-Dallas County Community College District academic policies and program requirements.
The Director of the Veterinary Assisting Program at Weatherford College and the Director of the Veterinary Technology Program at Cedar Valley College must approve amendments to this Articulation Agreement. When appropriate officials of the two institutions sign this Agreement, each institution is free to publicize this Agreement in a manner consistent with the Agreement. This Agreement will remain in effect until one or both of the institutions deem it necessary to terminate it.
