Interlibrary Loan Borrowing Guidelines
- Eligible Borrowers - The libraries will borrow material for currently enrolled students, faculty, staff and retirees of the Dallas County Community Colleges.
- Types of Materials - The libraries will attempt to borrow any item which normally circulates. We cannot borrow the following: TEXTBOOKS and other required course material; rare or valuable material; material in high demand; material with circulation restrictions such as reference, reserves, and genealogy; newly published material.
- Time Requirements - Delivery times vary depending on the availability of the item, the location of the lending library and the delivery method; average time is 3 - 4 weeks.
- Renewals - May or may not be granted by the lending library; contact your campus library before the due date to request renewal.
