The Early College High School at Mountain View College (MVC) currently consists of more than 200 ninth- and tenth-grade students from the Dallas Independent School District (DISD).

This unique educational program, made possible through a partnership between MVC and the DISD, provides area high school students the opportunity to earn high school diplomas and graduate with an associate degree, or with enough college credit hours to transfer to area universities as college juniors, as part of a five-year curriculum.

ECHS is also in partnership with the University of North Texas in Denton, which received a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and serves as the intermediary in this initiative.
