Nancy Breed serves as director of Brookhaven College’s extension campus at Mountain View College. She is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University’s nursing program, studied graduate nursing at Texas Woman’s University and earned her master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where she has completed her doctoral studies and is preparing her dissertation.

She has practiced in a variety of nursing settings and has worked as an emergency room nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital; ICU and outpatient clinic nurse for North Texas Veteran’s Medical Center; and staff nurse and supervisor for Baylor’s Home Health Care.

As an educator, Ms. Breed has taught nursing education at El Centro and Angelina colleges. She has also worked as an instructional associate of the Nursing Skills Lab at Brookhaven College. In addition, she has served several large, local hospitals as a nurse educator.
