A registered nurse for 30 years, Dr. Grace Rutherford has worked most of her career in public health with eight years in the Army Nurse Corps.
Dr. Rutherford received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University. She earned a second bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and a doctorate in higher education at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
She taught 11 years for Paris Junior College and currently works at the DCCCD LeCroy Center for Telecommunications. She is a member of the National Association for Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners.
Grace Rutherford teaches maternal-newborn nursing and pharmacology for nurses and is currently teaching two clinical groups at Brookhaven College.
