"I owe thanks to my mentor for pushing me to further my education and career goals; that drew me to the management program. The management program at Brookhaven has been an excellent tool for me to apply at work in real-life situations. I immediately applied the next day what was taught in class the night before. It helped me gain confidence and self-assurance in what I could do to be an asset to my company and my staff. My professor, Marisa Walsdorf, was also a huge help in pushing me to see what I could become. To this day, I use and share the lessons learned in the program.

Carolyn earned an Associate in Applied Sciences degree in Management and a Management Certificate from Brookhaven College. She has garnered three promotions at Broadlane, rising in the ranks from associate to supervisor, manager and now her current position, director.
