photo of Doug Richardson Eastfield College

Doug has been teaching management at Eastfield College since 1973. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from UNT, with further education at UNT and Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Doug has owned and managed a retail business for several years. He also has extensive experience at Lockheed Martin and General Motors as an industrial engineer and manager. Doug has managed several organizations including Arlington Runners Club and Texas Management Educators Association.

Recently Eastfield College has extended the management curriculum to offer all management courses online each semester. Additionally, Eastfield has a collaborative agreement with West London College, where students in Organizational Behavior are assigned to teams comprised of students from each institution to work on projects of international implications. This collaboration has been beneficial in developing international, cultural and ethnic understanding in both countries
