Do you enjoy being around kids? Would you like to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives? A career in Child Development could be just right for you – and it’s one of the fastest-growing job markets in the country!

Courses in Child Development are useful for anyone who works with or has close association with young children, including teachers, family day-home providers, Head Start staff, parents and others. Our experienced faculty members present the variety of content, theory and practical knowledge that you need to build a professional foundation for working with young children.

We offer a variety of classes during the day, in the evenings and on weekends, as well as through distance learning through Internet and television classes. We also teach classes off-campus to accommodate working professionals. You're sure to get the individual attention you need thanks to our small class sizes.

Child Development Degree and Certificate Options

You can earn college credit with any of our certificates in Child Development. We also offer an associate degree that can be transferred to a four-year university.
