“My DCCCD education was the basis for my career advancement. At Eastfield College, I received greater support from my instructors than at any of the other colleges I had attended. My teachers helped me tremendously in the computer classroom and lab to learn the material. I never had any problem getting my instructors to help me with my labs or classwork.
“I started as a programmer/analyst in 1994 and have advanced to senior programmer/analyst, where I am able work as a consultant and write programs that help companies succeed in their businesses. I have worked with several industries including banking, telecommunication, insurance, state government (child support/welfare system) and federal government (merchandising).
“The great part of the program was that I was able to transfer all my credit course hours from DCCCD to Tarleton State University. I am also proud to say that the core of my career advancement is my learning at Eastfield College. The majority of the work I do today is derived from the courses I took at Eastfield. I recommend any of the DCCCD colleges to anyone wishing to get some college education.”
