Transferring From DCCCD

Computer Information Technology courses are designed for direct entry into the workforce; however, there are many opportunities to continue your studies after gaining experience at DCCCD.

  • The UTA Texas Two-Step Project can provide either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies or from the College of Science at the University of Texas at Arlington.
  • The Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences degree at Texas A&M University-Commerce allows up to 85 semester hours to be transferred. The remaining 36 hours from TAMU-Commerce can be completed online.

If you are interested in completing a bachelor’s degree after you leave DCCCD, please visit the Transfer Services Web site for guidance on the transfer process.
