To get started in the Computer Information Technology (CIT) program, complete the admissions process at any DCCCD college that offers the career path you want to follow. When you meet with an academic advisor, mention your interest in CIT so he or she can help you determine which courses you should take.

Transferring From DCCCD
Computer Information Technology courses are designed for direct entry into the workforce; however, there are many opportunities to continue your studies after gaining experience at DCCCD.
- The UTA Texas Two-Step Project can provide either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies or from the College of Science at the University of Texas at Arlington.
- The Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences degree at Texas A&M University-Commerce allows up to 85 semester hours to be transferred. The remaining 36 hours from TAMU-Commerce can be completed online.
