Still in high school? DCCCD offers a number of programs designed to help high school students get on the fast track to a college education. Explore these programs to find one that fits your goals and interests.

  • Career Pathway - allows you to begin earning college credit in technical fields while in high school.

  • Dual Credit - gives qualified high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to earn college credit while completing high school requirements.

  • Early College High School at Brookhaven College - allows students who reside in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District and who are entering ninth grade to achieve two years of college credit while earning a high school diploma.

  • Middle College High School - provides motivated, mature students a unique opportunity to attend a high school located on the El Centro College campus.

  • Richland Collegiate High School - allows students to complete their last two years of high school at Richland College by taking college courses with a focus on mathematics, science or engineering.

  • Trinidad “Trini” Garza Early College High School at Mountain View College - provides area high school students the opportunity to earn high school diplomas and graduate with an associate degree, or with enough college credit hours to transfer to area universities as college juniors.

  • Upward Bound - develops the academic and motivational potential of students in grades 9-11 to prepare them for college success.
