Law Enforcement Academy

It's not right for everyone. For students with the dedication and motivation to succeed, however, Cedar Valley College's rigorous Law Enforcement Academy offers solid preparation for the challenges of being a peace officer.

The Law Enforcement Academy is a 763-hour program that exceeds Texas state requirements. The academic schedule is intense, physical training is a must, and the environment is paramilitary with a heavy emphasis on discipline.

Students who successfully complete the Academy and pass the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) exam are certified to be a peace officer in any municipal, county or state law enforcement agency in the state of Texas.

For more information, visit the Law Enforcement Academy page.
