About Our Services

MVC offers the following training programs:

  • Leadership, Management and Supervision Training (PDF - 1.30MB) classes are comprised of analysis and application of organizational theory, group dynamics, motivational theory, leadership concepts and integration of interdisciplinary concepts from the behavioral sciences. The training also provides a pratical overview of supervisory management at all levels. Some training is available in Spanish. Command Spanish is provided to allow non-Spanish speakers to give work-related commands in Spanish (no Spanish language training required). 

  • Machine Shop (PDF - 2.28MB) is an introduction to machining technology with an emphasis on safety and hand tool use; measuring tools including scales, micrometers and dial calipers; technical mathematics; basic lathe operations; basic layout and blueprint reading; and basic drill operations.

  • Occupational Safety & Health Association (PDF - 1.48MB)/Occupational Safety and Health for the Construction Industry (OSHA) (PDF - 2,186KB) courses are designed for supervisors with safety and health responsibilities, foremen or anyone else involved in these general industries. Upon successful completion of the course(s), participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Safety and Health or Construction 30-hours certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor and a certificate of completion from Mountain View College.

  • AutoCAD 1 teaches the most current Autodesk software on the market today. Facilities include state-of-the-art workstations and teaching tools to provide an optimal learning environment for computer drafting with Autodesk software.
