With online training, you can fit distance learning to your schedule, your pace and your learning style. Convenience is key in distance learning. After all, it allows self-paced, on-demand education. You may be able to take online courses that would not otherwise fit your schedule and learning preferences.

Many credit courses offered through distance learning via Dallas TeleCollege are also available as noncredit, continuing education courses.

Typical courses use simple products like e-mail and threaded discussions. These tools offer students and teachers the ability to share information with one another at their own pace and on their own time.

An online course is delivered using only computers and computer peripherals. You are required to have reliable Internet access, a reliable e-mail address, and the latest version of Internet browser software. See the course description for additional requirements for your course.
