Carole Stinson-Wilcher has more than 30 years of experience in chemical dependency counseling as a clinician, program director and adjunct professor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and merchandizing from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, La., and a master’s degree in education and counseling from Texas Woman’s University in Denton.

She began her profession in 1978 with the Louisiana Department of Corrections as a probation and parole specialist, specializing in drug and sex offenders. She holds credentials as a licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) and licensed professional counselor (LPC).
