Salary: $57,644-$100,877 / Salary Range
A full-time position at the North Lake College-North Campus. Conducts needs analyses with individuals, business, schools, and other community groups to determine community educational needs. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Works with College instructional and student services leaders to select, schedule and offer programs and services.
- Reports directly to Campus chief academic officer on instructional issues.
- Creates an institutional culture that values diversity and provides a safe space for working and learning.
- Markets all of the programs and services of the community campus, the College and the DCCCD.
- Facilitates community collaborations and partnerships for the College and community campus.
- Develops and manages the budget for the community campus.
- Recruits, selects and supervises the administrative and support staff for the community campus.
- Assists the College leadership in the recruitment and selection of academic and student services staff who may be assigned to the community campus.
- Assists with resource development and preparation of proposals for external funding of programs offered by the community campus.
- Responsible for implementing policies and procedures as determined by the DCCCD Board of Trustees, accreditation requirements as appropriate, and the rules, regulations and laws of state and federal agencies as they relate to the assigned area.
- Works with other administrators to ensure coordination of college-wide efforts to meet the goals of the College plan.
- Serves as a member of the College President’s Cabinet.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher plus three years of administrative experience in adult education, training and development and/or community education programs, including supervision and experience in developing and marketing educational services to adults or special populations or Bachelor’s degree plus five years of administrative experience in adult education, training and development and/or community education programs, including supervision and experience in developing and marketing educational services to adults or special populations.
- Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated experience in development and cultivation of partnerships.
- Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of DCCCD staff, external agencies and organizations and students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
- Ability to make timely decisions and the ability to write effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management.
- Previous successful experience leading a satellite or community campus is a plus.
- Experience with environment scanning, strategic planning and economic development is a plus.
- Previous experience as an instructional dean, faculty coordinator or program coordinator in the community college or higher education setting is a plus.
- Experience with managing a facility and overseeing safety and security of building occupants is a plus.
- Official transcripts will be required.
- A criminal background check will be conducted.
