Director, Veterinary Technology
Director, Veterinary Technology (Position No. 030909051)
Salary: $51,876-$90,783 / Salary Range
A full-time position in the Math, Science and Allied Health Department. Duties include buta re not limited to:

  • Provides administrative leadership in assisting the Dean of Math, Science and Allied Health in formulating, directing and evaluating the Veterinary Technology Program including on-campus programs and distance learning initiatives.
  • Manages all classes, faculty and staff.
  • Schedules classes, assigns teaching duties and provides oversight of the facilities and college animals.
  • Works closely with the District Office, other college departments and professional associates.
Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, D.V.M., plus three years teaching experience and administrative responsibility or comparable experience. 
  • Ability to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports and communicate with others.
  • Requires technical communication skills to deal with veterinary technology faculty and other health professionals and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Official transcript will be required.
  • A criminal background check will be conducted.
