A part-time (Grant Ending 8/31/2012, Hours Vary) position in the UpWard Bound Program. Duties include but are not limited to:

The UpWard Bound program seeks an instructor to teach small groups of high school students in the area of 9th-12th grade Math, including Algebra 1 & 11, Geometry and Calculus.

Instruction is designed to be enrichment education for high school students from first generation and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Activities/classes are held at the Cedar Valley campus approximately two Saturdays per month from September-May.

Candidates should have experience in secondary through post secondary students.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in subject area.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Ability to work with students of varying abilities.

Ability to work with diverse populations, including staff and students.
