Students may attend health professions classes part-time or full-time, days or evenings, and pay as they go. All these programs may be completed in one year or less. Most require that students have a high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Proficiency in written and spoken English, math, keyboarding and word processing skills are also important. Some programs require a criminal background check and drug screening.
